Eating Right While Away From Home
This week Chuck and I are on the road and hoping from one house to another visiting friends and family. We brought along our weights and exercise guide and have been pretty faithful to our routine but I do find it more difficult to eat well when we are visiting with others. There is a lot of tendency to grab something quick and easy and other folks don’t necessarily cook what we would.
Yesterday we had lunch from Giant Burger in Oroville. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was humongous and quiet hummy but I found it best eaten with a folk and focused on eating the fresh avacado, tomatoes and some chicken breast. It was just a shame to waste all that food though better waste than my waist.
I ended up purchasing one of Dr. Carol Solomon’s CDs. I want to compare it with my McKenna recordings. Will let you know what I think after a week or so. I have never really given the tapping method a fair trial. It’s proably time I do so.
